Service Description
Jazz. Pop. Modern. Classical. Whatever it is, let's play it TOGETHER. Learn what it means to play as a band and put together a show. Because the best learning happens on the bandstand. Each group meets 2 hours each day for three days, and concludes the session with a one hour performance featuring each group who participated in Bandstand. The August Middle School session of Bandstand includes: Tuesday, August 12th, 12:30-2:30pm - rehearsal Wednesday, August 13th, 12:30-2:30pm - rehearsal Thursday, August 14th, 12:30-2:30pm - rehearsal Friday, August 15th, 6:00-7:00pm - performance All rehearsals and performances will be at Dickerson's Tri-City Pianos. The content of each session will be largely determined by the students in the session and the music they would like to perform. The goal is to put together a cohesive set of music, arranged by the students, and performed at the end of the session. The music can be jazz, pop, classical, or any genre of modern music. The students can play more than one genre, or focus on one specific music genre if they'd like. The goal is to have an environment for the students to unleash their creativity and learn to play with others! If you have any other questions, please reach out, I'm always happy to answer!
Cancellation Policy
You can cancel for a full refund up to 1 week before the starting date of your session of Bandstand. If you cancel during the week before Bandstand, you will be given a 50% refund. No refund will be given after the starting date of Bandstand.
